Every year, the Swedish National Union of Students awards the Student City of the Year award to a city that actively and successfully works to improve the situation and lives of students. The award, which has been awarded since 1999, recognizes cooperation between universities, municipalities, student unions and the business community.
Is your city the Student City of the Year 2023? The application is now open, from September 1st to 30th.
The students, the city and the municipality are the minimum joint applicants for the award, otherwise an application is not considered valid. More parties, such as higher education institutions, other parts of the public sector and business are welcome to be co-applicants.
