Every year, the Swedish National Union of Students awards the Student City of the Year award to a city that actively and successfully works to improve the students' situation and life. The prize, which has been awarded since 1999, recognizes the collaboration between universities, municipalities, student unions and business.
Is your city Student City of the Year 2023? Now the application is open, from the 1st to the 30th of September.
The students, the city and the municipality are the smallest joint applicants for the award, otherwise an application is not considered valid. More parties, such as universities, other parts of the public sector and business, are welcome to be co-applicants.
