SFS chairman Jacob Färnert writes a reply to the Liberal Students and Liberal Youth Association debate article on higher education pedagogy and student-centered learning.
The debaters urge Minister of Education Mats Persson to “no longer steer higher education to deal with student-centered nonsense”. We largely agree. It should not be up to politicians to control in detail which methods are used in higher education. There are good structures within the academic world to manage quality development, free from political control.
