Is it reasonable to expect first-year students to have a clear plan for the future? Education is crucial for one's future prospects and it is therefore not easy to be sure from the beginning. Some students feel afraid to "waste CSN", which is indicated by the fact that CSN on its website advises the student to save the number of weeks by taking only half of the study grant, even though it is studying full-time. That gap in the budget must instead be filled by, for example, part-time work, which means that time and energy for studies are further reduced.
