It is the students who make the university what it is and therefore policy must be based on their needs. For more than 100 years, SFS has been the collective student voice in Sweden, and has promoted the voice of Swedish students internationally.
We are now releasing SFS's anniversary publication Revolt and Renewal – 100 years of student engagement!
About a century of a will for change and how the student movement has changed the university, and changed itself.
Many have contributed to the publication, with editor Magnus Höij at the helm.
At the same time, the government is proposing to reduce support for student unions by SEK 20 million in the upcoming autumn budget. We urge the government to rethink this.
Without support today, it will be harder to organize students tomorrow. Respecting history should be taking responsibility for the future!
