Debate: Don't make it difficult for international students!

Today, SFS in UNT writes together with the Innovation and Chemical Industries, IKEM, about the need for international students in Sweden. This is due to the government's investigation that proposes to make it more difficult for third-country students by introducing a limit for work of a maximum of 15 hours/week. Since tuition fees were introduced for these students, the proposal would make it even more difficult for these students, and increase biased recruitment.

"Sweden needs international students and their skills. The students, in turn, need financial security and a natural path from education to work. We should facilitate, not hinder, their opportunities to stay and contribute," writes Rasmus Lindstedt, chairman of SFS together with Caspian Rehbinder, IKEM.
