Sanna Wolk is the new union chairwoman of SULF, the union for university teachers, researchers and doctoral students. A few years ago, she left her job as a legal researcher, partly due to deteriorating conditions in the industry. Now, as union chairwoman, she will lead the work for better conditions.
In a conversation with SFS vice-chair Oskar M Wiik, she tells why it took ten years to get a permanent job, how the new migration law threatens research and how gender-equal the research world really is.
