Digital member meeting about assignment training

Welcome to the digital member meeting!

SFS's board has been tasked with developing SFS's views on commissioned training. The assignment takes place against the background that SFS member unions have expressed a lack of clarity regarding how participants in assignment training should be represented at the universities. In the operating year 2021/22, the SFS board had the corresponding assignment. The bill that was presented was voted down. The question also applies to a desire for clarity from SFS regarding any need for change in the current opportunities for the student unions to represent participants in commissioned education.

SFS has dealt with the issue of commissioned training and participants in commissioned training on several occasions. For example, through input into the University Chancellor's Office's (UKÄ) survey in 2016, Assignment training at universities and colleges. In the SFS report The Corps status process also touches on the question of participants in commissioned training.

The issue of commissioned education has also been brought up to date by the fact that UKÄ is planning a new pilot review of commissioned education at the higher education institutions, with a focus on, among other things, legal certainty and quality. Prior to this review, SFS has provided input. At the time of writing, SFS has no adopted specific opinions regarding mission training.

SFS provides an overview document with an overview of knowledge and recommendations to the member unions in their continued work regarding commissioned training. Read the document here
