At this meeting, we will focus on one of the elements at the heart of student influence! Namely student representation!
As a student union activist, it is difficult to imagine a world without student representation. It is a fundamental part of student influence in Sweden and a matter of course for many. In Sweden, students have a unique right to influence via representation. It is something that is not obvious in our world, but in Sweden it is established in the Higher Education Act.
At this meeting we will discuss how student representation can be used to achieve results for student influence. We will discuss recruitment of student representatives, representation in the student group and organizing student representatives for increased student influence.
We will also have the honor of being visited by Matilda Strömberg, coordinator Linköping University and former chair of SFS, who will talk about her experience of student representation.
