Yesterday, Matilda Ernkrans, Minister of Higher Education and Research, paid a digital visit to Malmö due to the fact that they have been named Student City of the Year by SFS. During the visit, she met, among other things, representatives from the student unions.
At the end of the day, SFS Vice Chair Linn Svärd had the opportunity to talk to Matilda Ernkrans about her impressions during the day. Also present at the meeting were Katrin Stjernfeldt Jammeh, Chairman of the Municipal Board in Malmö and Zeynep Erdal, Student City Coordinator Malmö City and Malmö University, who both told about Malmö's work.
There was a conversation about broadened recruitment, students' mental health, student health, pedagogy, the need for housing and much more.
