SFS consultation response: A new law on research ethics requirements and ethical review of research involving humans (Ds 2024:21)

SFS is generally positive about the inquiry's proposals. The current ethics review legislation is cumbersome and negatively affects both doctoral students and researchers, and it is good that the inquiry proposes that some research should be exempted from ethics approval requirements and that penal provisions should be removed.

SFS Consultation response Changing careers as an adult – a reformed adult education and a new vocational school for adults (SOU 2024:16)

SFS recommends that the new vocational school should be included in a municipal adult education degree and thus provide eligibility for higher education, but rejects the proposal that part of the funding for the new form of education should come from reduced funding for higher education and universities. SFS has no views on other parts of the investigation.
