At the Swedish National Union of Students' council meeting in Eskilstuna on 6 May 2023, the organisation's new presidium. Jacob Farnert will be SFS's next chairman and Klara Dryselius will be vice chairman.
During the weekend, roughly 200 representatives from the country's student unions gather in Eskilstuna to make crucial decisions for the organization's future. Jacob Färnert, who is SFS's current vice-chairman, receives the council's trust to take over as chairman during the next financial year.
- The students in Sweden are facing great challenges ahead and for me it is an incredible honor that I have been trusted to continue in the student union movement's joint work for the students, says Jacob.
Klara Dryselius is the former president of the Kristianstad Student Union, and has now been elected SFS's next vice president. She has a long background as being involved in student social issues at her university, and has an educational background as a primary school teacher.
- I am incredibly honored to have received the trust from the council to be vice president of the Swedish National Union of Students, says Klara.
