The Swedish National Union of Students, SFS, has conducted a survey to investigate university teachers' experiences of the financial conditions for a quality higher education. The survey was answered by 418 university teachers working at 47 Swedish higher education institutions. The report presents a summary of the results from the survey, together with a number of recommendations based on the results.
Our recommendations are:
- Exempt colleges and universities from the productivity deduction
- Increase compensation amounts
- Introduce a new resource allocation system that enables long-term planning
- Better use of the institution's authority capital
The report will be launched in a digital panel discussion on Thursday 25 April at 16.00-17.00. Follow the conversation on Facebook.
