The Swedish National Union of Students, SFS, has conducted a survey to investigate university teachers' experiences of the financial conditions for quality higher education. The survey was answered by 418 university teachers working at 47 Swedish higher education institutions. The report presents a summary of the results from the survey, together with a number of recommendations based on the results.
Our recommendations are:
- Exempt colleges and universities from the productivity deduction
- Increase compensation amounts
- Introduce a new resource allocation system that enables long-term thinking
- Better use of the university's government capital
The report will be launched in a digital panel discussion on Thursday, April 25, 4:00-5:00 PM. Follow the discussion on Facebook.
