We at SFS work continuously to find out what problems can or have arisen for students as a result of the Corona crisis. Below you will find a list of those who have been identified so far, but we would very much like to receive more comments if we have missed anything. You can submit this through the following form: bit.ly/sfscorona. We are in continuous dialogue with representatives of the government, higher education institutions and other people in power to ensure as good a situation as possible for Sweden's students in this Corona crisis.
For student unions we encourage special dialogue with the university and other relevant actors regarding 1. how / if the campus should be open and 2. how the management of student housing should work as these two vary greatly within the country.
The list of Corona-related student problems can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/15c1vPYZu1qdfn38E9eCHVR0gvvlFCz1HfY5yq2D0iQc/edit?usp=sharing
Problems we have noticed and that have been solved are marked with [SOLVED] and we have marked how the issue is worked with through [hook brackets]:
If you have more surveys, we ask you to fill in the form bit.ly/sfscorona. Do you have other relevant information such as development in any of the above questions, please contact [email protected].
In addition to the above surveys, we would like to call for a number of things. Follow the authorities' advice. Reduce physical social contact. Try to maintain regular business as much as possible. The principle of reasonableness prevails. Maintain good communication with those responsible and those affected. Do not spread rumors - stay calm. Above all, be nice to each other and help those who need it. This is how we get through this crisis, together.
