It has not escaped anyone's notice that there is a housing shortage among students in Sweden. Minister of Housing Märta Stenevi (MP) was recently interviewed about this on two occasions on Swedish Radio. Partly because comment building regulations for student housing and partly digital study checks. It is noteworthy that she rejects two reforms that both students and landlords are behind without putting forward her own proposals for solutions. As Minister of Housing, it is not enough to stand idly by in the face of the student housing shortage. We students and student housing companies agree on what needs to be done: legally secure and effective study inspections need to be carried out regularly and we must be given the tools to build student housing with qualities that are adapted to students' finances and demand.
