It has not escaped anyone that there is a housing shortage among students in Sweden. Minister for Housing Märta Stenevi (MP) was recently interviewed about this on two occasions on Swedish radio. Partly because comment building regulations for student housing and partly digital study controls. It is remarkable that she manages two reforms that both students and landlords are behind without making their own proposals for a solution. As Minister for Housing, it is not enough to stand idle in the face of the student housing shortage. We students and student housing companies agree on what needs to be done: legally secure and effective study checks need to be carried out regularly and we must get tools to build student housing with qualities that are adapted to students' finances and demand.
