SSO Network Meeting: Threats and Hate

Hello and welcome to the next networking meeting with the SSO network!

Date: November 20

Time: 15.00 - 16.30

Location: Digitally via Zoom. Link will be sent to registered participants the day before the meeting.

Theme: Threats and hatred

We are visited by Exhibition, who will share their experiences and knowledge about threats and hatred within civil society. Expo is a foundation that has long worked to map and counter hate, threats and attempts to influence from the right-wing extremist environment through training, reports and advice. Last year they produced a report on hate and threats in civil society, which can be read here.

During the meeting, Expo will share the driving forces behind hatred and threats, how organized actors act, and tools and strategies that can help organizations resist attempts at influence. After the presentation, there will be time for questions, discussion, and exchange of experiences on the topic.

As usual, we will also leave time at the end of the meeting for more spontaneous discussions and questions that you would like to raise in the network.

From SFS, Sebastian Lagunas Rosén, social policy manager, and Elin Frösell, member coordinator, will participate. Contact Elin ([email protected]) if you have not received an invitation via email, but would like to attend the meeting.

Welcome!
