Welcome to the meeting with the EUI network!
Date: April 23
Time: 10.00-12.00
Location: Digital via Zoom
The SFS EUI network is for you students who are involved in a European University Alliance, and is a meeting place for you to exchange experiences and knowledge. The network is led by Matilda Horn, member of Komit and student representative in SUHF's expert group for internationalization.
Theme: European exam
During the network meeting on April 23, we will pay special attention to the EU's European Degree initiative. The European Degree is a new type of degree proposed within the EU to promote transnational education programs and facilitate automatic recognition of qualifications within the EU. During the network meeting, Matilda will talk about the origin of the initiative, what the work looks like now and in the future both nationally and at the EU level, and SFS and other Swedish actors in the sector's perspective on the European Degree.
The presentation will be followed by discussions with you participants. We are particularly curious to hear about how and if the European Degree is being discussed in your respective alliances, and if and how you students are involved and have insight into the discussions connected to this. Please think about these questions connected to your own alliance before the networking meeting.
There will also be an opportunity for discussion and exchange of experiences outside the theme. There, you participants will have the opportunity to hear what the work and student representation look like in other alliances, and share both good examples and the challenges you face.
Inform [email protected] if you would like to be invited to the networking event.
