Today we are writing in Universitetsläraren about the work against sexual harassment in academia. Our goal is that no sexual harassment should occur in higher education. Higher education institutions must intensify their work to prevent and manage sexual harassment and we of course want to be a partner in this in the future. The Swedish National Union of Students, SFS, represents students and doctoral students throughout Sweden and monitors systems and structures when it comes to the students' and the university's behalf. There is still much to be asked here. There are many examples of how vulnerable a student or young researcher can be within academia, for example in relation to a supervisor or more senior colleague. In the academic world, this kind of power relationship is unfortunately common and it has consequences.
