It is noteworthy that existing borrowers must pay for future borrowers, and according to the National Debt Office and the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, this is against basic principles in the Budget Act. The interest rate on student loans has never before been raised for the purpose of financing a reform.
We urge Ulf Kristersson to stick to his word, and stop the Social Democrats' interest rate increase on the student loan.
