Report release: Special pedagogical support in higher education

On January 31 between 16.00:17.00 and XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., the Swedish National Union of Students will present our latest report Special educational support. We present our conclusions and have a panel comment on the report.
ABOUT THE REPORT
All students in higher education with a permanent disability have a legal right to receive special educational support. Nevertheless, we see that there are variations in what access looks like at different universities. Not all students receive the support they request. In the report, we map the availability of educational support at 43 institutions of higher learning in Sweden, and present proposals that we believe can improve the situation.
Panelists:
Gunilla Lindqvist, senior lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy, Didactics and Educational Studies, Uppsala University
Lotten Glans, chairman SUHF's expert group for study administrative issues, head of administration, Mittuniversitetet
Johanna Forsberg, chairman Young Hearing Impaired
Åsa Westlund, vice chair and spokesperson for the Social Democrats in the education committee
Moderator: Jacob Färnert, vice chairman SFS
