In a new report focusing on pedagogy and teaching in higher education, the Swedish National Union of Students, SFS, has identified major shortcomings.
- A large part of the higher education that is conducted does not reflect the current research on learning and teaching. It is very serious, says Erik Arroy, chairman of SFS
SFS has examined several different areas where improvements are needed. The report sets out nine demands for measures for the government and nine calls for the higher education institutions to rectify the problems.
- These quality deficiencies must be addressed if Sweden is to be a competitive knowledge nation, says Erik Arroy
