One week left until the launch of the housing report 2021

The housing report is launched annually by SFS and has been published since 2008. Now it is soon time for the 2021 report which will be launched in a week, Monday 30 August.

The report will be available on sfs.se from early morning Monday 30 August and at lunch (12.15-13.00) we will hold a digital seminar that is open to everyone where the report is presented. You will find more info about the seminar here, and Facebook events are available here.

The housing issue is constantly relevant for students and it is one of the groups that is hard hit by the housing shortage. Having somewhere to live is a basic security that is crucial for the student to be able to focus fully on their studies. Unfortunately, it does not look like that in many places in Sweden today.

In the Housing Report, we map out the housing situation for students in all of Sweden's municipalities that have a university or college campus. Depending on how quickly a student can be offered accommodation at the place of study, the place is marked as green, yellow or red. With the Housing Report, SFS wants to shed light on students' housing situation and highlight what the development looks like from year to year. Previous years' housing reports can be downloaded here.
