Network meeting #8 Circle of choir leaders

Theme: Burning without burning up

Welcome to the eighth meeting with the union leaders' cycle. This time we tackle the question of being passionate about one's commitment but also finding focus and enthusing others can be at least as rewarding.

  • What are you passionate about and how do you find the balance in your own commitment?
  • How involved should you be in all parts of the corps?
  • You have almost infinite potential. How do you use it?

Johan will share his own experiences and some theories about commitment and enabling others to find their context.

Interview leader and guest Johan Kaluza fd. union chairman and economics doctor in business administration

Johan Kaluza has a long background from civil society, where he was, among other things, chairman of the Karlstad student union, treasurer of the Republican Association and involved both nationally and locally in the scouts. He has also trained young leaders as a course leader in value-based leadership and taught organizational theory and management at basic and advanced level. Today, Johan works as a senior investigator at the Equality Authority.

The word free

Here there is room to raise issues that are current at the moment with your student union that you feel a need to discuss with others.

A new network launched as part of the SFS organizational focus issue on engagement. The network is aimed at you who have a position in your student union and want to exchange experiences on leadership, organisation, commitment and board issues.

The networking event is exclusive to student unions that are members of SFS and SFS elected representatives. Are you interested in joining the network? Contact [email protected].
