Emma is a member of the working group for the European University Alliances within ESU and the
is currently developing material regarding student representation in the alliances in order to
use it in lobbying efforts towards the EU. Please provide information on the following
questions and either send it to Emma ( [email protected] ) or lift the answers
at a sitting meeting. The questions are:
● Do you have student representation
● Name of it Internal or External structure (student council)?
● Who is it composed of?
● How are the representatives are (s)elected?
● Composition of the council?
● What role does the council have?
● What power does the council have?
● Consulted for the documents before they are put to a vote?
● Inclusion of the SR in the main decision making body?
● Do you have what is often called student ambassadors, eg not student
representatives but students that are still there?
● What is the role of these student ambassadors?
● Are the student representatives financially enabled to carry out their duties?
● Is the student representation body financially enabled to carry out its duties?
