Today, SFS writes together with Timbro in Expressen about the moderates' proposal that those who earn less than the median salary in Sweden, just under SEK 32, should not be allowed to stay in the country. According to UKÄ, about 60 percent of all university degrees lead to a lower salary than the national median three years after graduation. More than half of all students in the academic professions would be stopped by the Moderates' wage demands. After only a few years, most academic professions are above the median, but what good is it for those who are not allowed to stay for the first few years? The consequence of the Moderates' proposal will be that Sweden would become less attractive to international students, want to stay in the country and work after graduation.
