Students' psychosocial health is a constantly current topic that SFS works actively with. Almost half of all students between the ages of 18-29 state that they have experienced mental illness. SFS has previously pointed out how the situation worsened during the Corona pandemic as many students are experiencing increased anxiety, and at the same time the pressure on student health is very high.

SFS Vice Chairman Linn Svärd and Sofia Holmdahl Chairman of Stockholm University's student union wrote about this earlier this week in Dagens Arena.

The questions were also relevant at the Riksdag's question time at the end of last week.

Ilona Szatmari Waldau (V) raised the issue of accessibility, digital education and the need for support measures. Szatmari Waldau asked Matilda Ernkrans, Minister for Higher Education and Research, if she was prepared to investigate pedagogical support measures for greater equality between higher education institutions and guarantee students the support they need.
